What can happen in a year of making music?

Dear Friends,

What can happen in a year of making music?

At the Grand Opening Celebration just over a year ago, the doors opened on a new chapter for music education in the Upper Valley. Students, parents, long-time supporters, and community members came together to create a permanent home for music education in the historic Kendrick-Wood home on Colburn Park in Lebanon. As the celebratory notes from the ribbon-cutting ceremony washed over the crowd, we all knew we were at the beginning of something special.

It was a great first year in our new home, but it is just the beginning. Our home was built in 1816 and has stood through 200 years of musical history. Now we are looking ahead to the next chapter. Over the coming year, we will continue the high quality music education UVMC is known for, and craft UVMC’s plans for the future with your input. We hope you will join us to hear a concert, play an instrument, sing, or simply to share your love of music. As always,

Let’s make music!

Sincerely,

Ben, Lindsay, Amy, Louis, Zheng, Becky, Judy, Lisa, and Erin
