UVMC Programs & Faculty

The Center provides programs throughout the year for Children's Chorus, Youth Chorus, Teen Chorus, Youth Chamber Ensembles, Youth String Orchestra, Adult Chamber Ensembles, and Orchestra. The popular Strings-in-Schools program furnishes group elementary string lessons in partnership with 11 public and private schools in the region. We're also very pleased to announce our new Suzuki Strings for the Young Child

All UVMC programs run throughout the year and are offered at a very low cost. Additionally, the UVMC offers a music day camp program for children age grades Kindergarten through 12. This three-week camp provides introductory and advanced music instruction in chorus, strings, woodwinds, brass, drumming, composition, chamber ensembles, and orchestral performance. Overall, around 400 participants from 50 Upper Valley communities are enrolled in the UVMC's programs at any given time.

We believe that all residents of the Upper Valley, no matter what the financial situation, should have access to quality music education. Through annual Membership and fundraising drives, we successfully offset the costs of tuition and financial aid. All this is only made possible through the generous support of Upper Valley residents like you.
