Founded in 1995, The Upper Valley Music Center is the premier source of orchestra, chamber ensemble, and chorus education and performance opportunities for the Upper Valley. We service over 600 students aged 3-76 annually from over 70 communities in the Upper Connecticut River Valley.

Learn about our nonprofit Music Center , the classes and lessons  we offer, our wonderful faculty , how you can support the UVMC  or sign up to receive our quarterly newsletter - "Musical Offering".

Our outrach programs put us in partnership with 10 public and private schools, to provide group elementary string and wind lessons through our “Strings-in-Schools”  programs.  Our other outreach programs include various concert series and events.

SUMMER 2008!

We are gearing up for  music day camp program for children K-12. Quintet Tabor, Becky Luce, Stephen Palmer, Ellen Nordstrom-Baer, Hillary Owen, Yvette Courtemanche, Joanna Nelson, Cara Hanson, and our other teaching staff are excitedly preparing!   Check back soon for more information about classes and offerings at summer camp!

This summer, the music center will also hold the 2nd annual Suzuki violin, viola & cello workshop. This will be a great opportunity to enjoy playing with other students from all over the country.
